Lady Forster Kindergarten Mural
Wandering through the hidden beach pathways, collecting leaves, looking for bugs, playing in the boat and picking red berries. The design incorporates scenes of adventure that the kids engage in daily, from bushwalking and wandering across rocks at the beach. Local plants from surrounding gardens and seaside scrubs feature in the design, from banksia leaves, common everlasting, grasses and seedpods through to the much-loved sheoak tree. Bugs are hidden throughout the design for kids to spot, from marching ants to caterpillars and lady bugs. A red wattle bird lands on a branch, while an eastern spine bill watches over the design from a nearby tree. A child's feet appear in the design, exploring the beach paths, whilst another child’s hand holds some leaves they’ve collected along the way.
